And the winner is…….The results are in from the exclusive Motoring Madness Hypercar survey. There has been a huge response from this survey and after counting and validating the results, I can finally reveal which hypercar has been chosen as the winner.
The hypercar that you, Motoring Madness Blog readers, have chosen as your all-time favourite hypercar is the Bugatti Veyron. The Bugatti Veyron won with a staggering 55% of you voting for it. None of the other hypercars could get close to the mighty Veyron. The world’s fastest production car is everything a hypercar needs to be. A well-deserved winner and great all-round car.
In second place was the Ferrari LaFerrari. Ferrari’s most powerful and most expensive road car got 12% of your votes. It may lack the performance of the Bugatti Veyron but its futuristic appearance and more futuristic hybrid technology to propel the LaFerrari into the future history books.
In third place is the Aston Martin One-77. Only 2% separated the Aston Martin and the Ferrari so it was a close fight but unfortunately the Aston could only go home with the bronze. This car was a showcase of Aston’s abilities and is the most powerful, expensive and lavish Aston Martin ever created. This is also the most exclusive car on this list with only 77 being produced and sold with a £1.2million.
In joint fourth place are the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918. Both cars got 8% of your votes which tied them together for fourth place. The McLaren and the Porsche are both similarly matched cars and are main rivals which makes there tie in the survey quite interesting. The 918 produces more torque yet the P1 produces more brake horse power .These two can battle it out on both paper and in the real world. Its nigh impossible to split these two up it seems.
Bringing up the rear in fifth place is the Pagani Huayra with just 7% of your votes. The Pagani Huayra is certainly one of the most outlandish looking cars, especially the interior that because Pagani wanted to make the Huayra an event to drive and look at rather than just a mere car.
